Sheriff's Office releases details of the 6th report of grabbing on the Centennial Trail

Another woman is coming forward to report an assault on the Centennial Trail that occurred last week. Around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26th, the victim was running along the Centennial Trail near Greene and Upriver Drive when she heard the suspect approaching when he rode up from behind and slapped her bottom. She swore at the suspect as he rode away. The victim described the suspect as a white male, 25 to 30-years old, 5'07" tall, with brown hair and medium build.

Another Woman Grabbed Along Centennial Trail

Another woman has reported being grabbed on the Centennial Trail. The 22-year old victim was jogging westbound on the trail near the 1100 block of East Mission on Tuesday afternoon, when the suspect, like previous reports, grabbed the victim's bottom from behind as he rode past her. The victim described the suspect as riding a silver BMX-style bicycle, wearing high top tennis shoes and denim shorts. The first half will feature an explanation of current Salish efforts in the area and feature teaching demonstrations from specialists, Elizabeth Johnspone and Aspen Smith from the Kalispel Language Nest. This month's edition is hosted by Councilman Jon Snyder. His inspiration for the topic was stemmed from Spokane's local minor league baseball team, the Spokane Indians.

More Women Reporting Assaults Along Centennial Trail

More reports of a bicyclist along the Centennial Trail grabbing women have been released by the Spokane County Sheriff's Office.

Last Thursday, July 28th, a woman reported that a man on a mountain bike had grabbed her twice in one day near Upriver Drive, once in the morning and a second time in the evening. The 23-year old victim was asked by the suspect if she "liked it". She ran from the suspect, but later that evening was grabbed by him again along a gravel road near Minnehaha Park.
