Gonzaga Bullpups Sign Letters Of Intent

Deciding where to go to college is a big deal for any high school senior. Today, five student-athletes at Gonzaga Preparatory School made the big decision, while announcement where they plan to play ball next Fall. Today marks, National Signing Day, when high school seniors sign Letters of Intent to play college athletics.

Here's a look at the Bullpups who signed today:

Cassie Anderson - Carroll College, Women's Basketball (daughter of Phillip & Michelle Anderson of South Spokane) Jessica Bennett - Gonzaga University, Women's Soccer (daughter of Darron & Heidi Bennett of Spokane Valley) Max Kelly - University of Montana, Football (son of Darcy Kelly of Spokane Valley) Matt Miller - Central Washington University, Football (son of Ron & Jill Miller of North Spokane) Christy Tombari - Gonzaga University, Women's Soccer (daughter of Joe & JoAnne Tombari of Spokane Valley)

Gonzaga Prep Principal, Fr. Kevin Connell, S.J. said: "These student athletes, along with Lindsey Stockton who signed in the fall to play basketball at Montana State, pursue knowledge in the classroom as well as on the field and court. They uphold the Jesuit tradition of striving for excellence in all their endeavors and they have each demonstrate in their own ways many of the attributes values that Gonzaga Prep is striving to instill in all of its students, especially including a desire to be a person for others. We expect each of their lights to shine brightly at in college and wherever else their paths may lead them."
